Operationalizing the AU-EU International Research Consortium on FNSSA

The 19th RUFORUM General Meeting presents an opportunity to initiate the discussion on the plans to operationalization of the IRC.
The side event will bring together the current 50 IRC signatories, potential members and oth- er interested R&I partnerships to discuss the key components of the IRC’s CEA-FIRST Project. The side-event will also serve as an opportunity to enlarge the membership of the IRC and update the directory of the Focal Persons representing the current signatories of the IRC.
The objective is to present the process and key elements of the operationalization of the IRC while promoting it as the main AU-EU AKIS Platform on the FNSSA and building the ownership and partnerships among the relevant actors for stronger food systems, sustainable growth and jobs.
The meeting will be in a hybrid format. Virtual participation cost is free.
